We are centrally located and easily accessible by car, bus or sky train to everything you will want to do in the Vancouver area. It is a 10 minute bus/skytrain ride to downtown Vancouver including Chinatown, Gastown, shopping and theatres. We are 10 minutes by taxi to both cruise ship terminals, train station, and also the Waterfront station of the Canada Line sky train to and from the airport. It is 10 minutes to the entrance of the #1 Highway to North Vancouver which takes you to the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal to Vancouver Island. The nearby Ironworkers Bridge gives you quick access to all the local ski resorts with beautiful hiking trails in the summer and the Highway to Whistler/ Blackcomb Mountains.

The 21 blocks of Commercial Drive from Venables at north end, to 13th Avenue at the south, over a mile long, are home to the most eclectic mix of businesses in the city. My husband and I live upstairs. The house is most often quiet and peaceful. The sound proofing between floors is fairly good.
We ask guests to stay only if they are hoping to have a quiet retreat as late night parties, loud visiting and/or music etc. don't suit us or our neighbours.
Vancouver's Greenest City Plan requires that we recycle and compost and ask our guests to do the same. Its easy. We will explain to you further if needed.

We (a family with two 17-year-old-daughters) enjoyed our stay in this appartement very much. You feel at homeimmediately. Everything is comfortable and clean. It is easy to reach by car, tube or bike. Although very central, it is quiet and green. The host Devorah lives in the first floor, she is nice and helpfull. The suite is in the sous-terrain and you have not so much sunlight, but you can sit or eat in the beautiful garden, just outside the kitchendoor.
